Carrier and Culture Educator Jo Anne Leon has been taking David Hoy learners on winter adventures to JPRF's Pithouse and Cache Trail. They are observing winter sign, exploring winter wetlands, and enjoying bannock and stories around the fire. Although it's a short hike, after 20cm of snow, it can feel like a looooong snowshoe! A few learners took the opportunity to lay back, recharge and watch the clouds float by. I feel ya, buddy.
