We would like to welcome our new Executive Director, Dr. Lindsay Jennings to the Chuntoh Education Society Team. Lindsay has called Fort St James home for the past 13 years after moving here from the East Coast. She completed her PhD in marine biology at the University of New Brunswick, where she spent countless hours underwater observing juvenile sea urchins and sea stars. She has shared her love of the outdoors with youth since before the millennium change through many organizations including Girl Guides of Canada and more recently Scouts Canada. She has previously worked as a teacher on call for School District 91 and continues to enjoy learning with the children in the outdoor classroom setting. When Lindsay is not engaging with youth outdoors, she is exploring with her family, camping, sailing, or knitting new mittens for the next adventure.
