Gail Hiebert, a G4 teacher at David Hoy Elementary, hosted a K-7 assembly on climate change today. In celebration of World Environment Day, G7 learners gave a presentation on how trees can help stop or reverse climate change. Conifex forester Tanya Kruisselbrink was a guest and demonstrated how to plant a tree. She brought along conifer tree plugs - enough for each student to take home two each!
